About Silvester Popescu-Willigmann Photography
Silvester Popescu-Willigmann is a Munich (Germany) based documentary photographer. He walked over many bridges and travelled many roads: Primarily educated economist, financial and administrative expert with secondary background in philosophy and education he also practices in financial planning and administrative consulting. As a wholehearted documentary photographer he is travelling worldwide for photographic purposes - for the sake of truthful photographs. He often accompanies international project teams on humanitarian projects documenting their work - and the people abroad.
Silvester Popescu-Willigmann ist Dokumentarphotograph aus München. Er hat beruflich schon viele Wege beschritten: Betriebswirtschaftlich, in Finanzen und Verwaltung ausgebildet, hat er sich parallel Studien der Philosophie und Pädagogik gewidmet. Noch immer betreibt er freiberuflich ein Finanzplanungs- und Wirtschaftsberatungsbüro. Als leidenschaftlicher Dokumentarphotograph bereist er für photographische Arbeiten die ganze Welt - auf der Suche nach aufrichtigen und wahrhaftigen Bildern. Er begleitet häufig internationale Projektteams bei ihren humanitären Einsätzen und dokumentiert ihre Arbeit - und das Leben der Menschen - vor Ort.
